FAQ FOR ADULTS:
1. Do I need my own clubs for my golf lessons?
We have clubs that students could use during their first lesson, but we strongly recommend that you do get your own clubs before the next lesson. Ongoing practice is necessary in order to retain muscle memory. If not, you will have to start basic fundamentals over again every lesson.

2. How do I schedule my lessons when I travel frequently?
When you return, contact us to resume your lessons. We recommend ongoing practice to retain muscle memory while on travel whenever possible. There are golf courses or driving ranges that will loan you practice clubs. PW, 6 iron and putter are good practice clubs.

3. How many lessons are recommended before playing a golf course?
Taking golf lessons for the first time will only provide you the basic concept of how and what to practice. Each student¬â¬€ˆ†s learning ability is totally different. The answer to that question rests with the student. It depends upon the level of effort put into practice time.
One time a student came to me for her first lesson. She was wanting to play in a scramble the following day. I informed her of the risk but proceeded to give her a crash course in putting, chipping and full swing. Needless to say she did well the next day and her husband was surprised. Two weeks later, she contacted me about her inability to hit the ball. She wanted to know what happened. I explained that she had no ongoing practice to retain muscle memory for over two weeks, and her muscles had to be retrained.

6. I took a lesson from an instructor before; however, I can hardly hit the ball. I will never take another lesson again. What do you think I should do?
Whenever you decide to take lessons from an instructor for the first time, it takes lots of patience, time and hard work to retrain your muscle.
Even the #1 golfer in the world takes lessons to get better. You have to find an instructor with whom you feel comfortable and work on skills to improve your game. Remember, practice smarter not harder.

7. I have been playing golf over the years and I still can¬â¬€ˆ†t break 90. How can I improve
my score?
For the most part, you probably did not take the necessary steps to learn the fundamentals of golf which does not mean trying to hit your driver 300 yards, and hoping it goes straight. We recommend finding an instructor who will develop your putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Golf is about short game and putting. Hitting the golf ball off the tee is just to get you in position to use your short irons, and putter.

9. What are your recommendations for practicing?
For everyone it is different. For beginners, we recommend that they work on: grip, posture, correct weight transfer on back swing, club position on backswing, weight transfer on follow through, and most importantly, contact with the ball. We stress that distance does not matter at this level of learning.

FAQ FOR JUNIORS:
1. What is an appropriate age for enrolling a child in golf lessons?
It is known that Tiger Woods started at age 2. Our 5-year old student is rank number one in the US Kids Golf program and he started golf at age 3. We have a 4 year old boy who is also competing. It all depends on the child and the amount of time invested in practice.
