Competed at age 4 in the U.S. Kids Local Tour
Placed 2nd in the 2007 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship (San Diego, California)
Placed in the top 11 in the 2007 U.S. Kids World Championship (Pinehurst, North Carolina)

Angelique was able to finish with the lowest score (36) among the field on the final day of the world championship; however, it was not enough to rally back for the top spot in the world. Angelique now realizes that in order to become number one, it takes more than driving the ball off the T-box at 190 to 200 plus yards; rather, a strong consistent pitching, chipping, and putting game will result in her winning world championships. She is determine and has a goal of becoming the number one golfer in the world in her age division.
Kyle Cox – 8 years old Boys 8 Year Old Division
At age 3, Kyle began taking golf lessons with Coach Wes at Riverchase Golf Club. Since then, he has added the following accomplishments to his resume:
At age 4 competed in the U.S. Kids Local Tour

Rohan Kommineni – 4 years old Boys 3-6 Years Old Division
Rohan signed up at the age of 4 to compete in the U.S. Kids Local Tour. Regretfully, the U.S. Kids eliminated the 4-year-old category and began the competition in the 5-year-old category. As a result, Rohan was flown to Quincy, Illinois to compete in the Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championship where he placed 3rd. Rohan, now at the proud age of 5, is looking forward to competing in this year’s U.S. Kids Local Tour. He will be a junior golfer to be reckoned with in the 6 and under age group.
Rohit Madireddi – 5 years old Boys 6 and Under Division
Rohit was able to shoot his lowest score (37) in the First Annual 2008 U.S. Kids PGA Golf Club Invitational (Port St. Lucie, Florida). Also ranked in the world of junior golf, Rohit has developed an impeccable swing that will hold up under pressure for a golfer his age and for years to come. In addition, Rohit is continuing to learn that it all comes down to pitching, chipping, and putting which will enable him to win tournaments. Rohit is now on the right track to becoming one of our top competitors for the 2009 U.S. Kids Local Tour and World Championship.
Advait Chutke -5 years old Boys 6 and Under Division
Advait is also ranked in the world as a junior golfer. His aggressive swing speed and length of the T-box gives him the advantage over most of his competitors. With consistency, dedication and hard work, Advait is also on the right track to becoming one of our top competitors for the 2009 U.S. Kids Local Tour and World Championship.
Dawson Ovard – 6 years old Boys 6 and Under Division
Now ranked 18th out of 83 in the world, Dawson was disappointed when he did not achieve his goal of becoming the 2008 U. S. Kids Golf World Champion. His strength being on and around the putting green, this 6-year-old golfer has set his goal for next year to be placed in the top 5 in his division. With hard work and determination, he will achieve much more.
Jace Valentine – 6 years old Boys 6 and Under Division
Now ranked in the world of junior golf due to his calm demeanor, mental focus and willingness to improve on his golf game, Jace challenges himself to work harder on his fundamentals. Together with dedication and consistency, in conjunction with his mindset, Jace will soon be at the top of his age group.
Chaithra Katamneni – 11 years old Girls 10 – 11 Division
Starting at age 9, Chaithra began participating in golf tournaments after one year into golf lessons. After two years of hard work and dedication, she continues to show tremendous talent and determination. This year, she won all eight summer 2008 local tour events hosted by U.S. Kids Golf held in Dallas, Texas. She also won the Player of the Year Award with a wide margin in points for the Girls 10-11 division. Out of the 25 tournaments she participated in, Chaithra has 21 first place awards and 4 awards for second place. In the 2008 U.S. Kids World Championship held in Pinehurst, North Carolina, she placed 37th out of 78 in the girls 11-year-old division by scoring an impressive 88, 87 and a final day score of 82. Angelique Francis - 6 years old
Girls 8 and under division
Daddy’s little girl, 6-year-old Angelique Francis has earned the moniker “Little Tigress” at Riverchase Golf Club in Coppell. From the time she was two, she was getting familiar with the game of golf by throwing the ball to her coach and father, Wesley S. Francis. Now, she hits the golf ball further than most older girls and boys that she competed with. Yet, she knows that it all comes down to the final number on the scorecard. Angelique has been competing for the past two years and is now in contention every time she steps on the tee box. Born with a lot of natural talent, she has the potential to be successful at any sport, but her passion lies with golf. Angelique is now the No. 2 ranked 6-year-old in the world, according to the 2007 Callaway World Junior championship at Torrey Pines in San Diego this summer. She also qualified for the U.S. Kids Junior World Championship 2007. This qualification provided her the opportunity to show her stuff in Pinehurst, N.C. Having three years left in the girls 8 and under division and finishing with a score of 2 under par after 27 holes, she has nothing but time to perfect her game around and on the green. She is now ranked in the top 11 out of 68 girls eight and under in the U.S. Kids World Golf Championship. Angelique Francis is well on her way with her talent, dedication, hard work and eagerness to one day become the No. 1 women golfer in the world.
The number one ranked 6-year-old in 2006, Kyle Cox still ranks in the top 10 out of 112 juniors in the 7-year-old division in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship hosted at Pinehurst, North Carolina in August of 2007. Kyle has been consistently shooting 4 or 5 under par in every tournament this year in the U.S. Kids local tour. With a 5 under par in the memorial two-day golf tournament at Indian Creek in 2007, Kyle (turned 7) had his first hole-in-one the day after his birthday. With lots of talent and potential, Kyle will have incredible success as a professional golfer one day. The key to his success will be his short game around and on the green.
Born in South Africa and now living in Dallas, Texas, this young golfer came with natural talent. He must continue to maintain, improve, and build on his game around and on the green. Having a short time to do so and a lot of work to be done, Tanaka finished in 35th place out of 101 juniors at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship hosted at Pinehurst, North Carolina in August of 2007. Tanaka has the potential to be an incredible and success golfer one day.
Taylor Icenberger - 11 years old
(Former student)
Eleven-year-old Taylor has something to prove. She started taking golf lessons at the age of 9 and started competing a year later. She finished the 2006 Dallas local tour season winning "Player of the Year" with the most points standing in that division, and earning a spot in the 2007 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship hosted at Pinehurst, North Carolina in August of 2007. This was an experience she will cherish for life. Taylor has and shows great talent and potential for college golf. Good luck Miss Taylor!
Special Congratulations!!!!!
Congratulations to those students who competed in the U.S. Kids Dallas Summer Local Tour 2007: Eric VerDine, Mikayla Holder, Tanaka Mutuzu, Elijah Hubbard, Matthew Frappier, Jarrett Taylor, Aaron Smith, Kyle Cox, and Chaithra Katamneni, who won her first tournament after one year of learning the game.
